recently the surface book 2 with dGPU gives some crazy noise from the base, it is not those constant one, it is like: every second, it starts low pitch then high pitch, sounds like something stuck in the fan and every second it hits a choking spot and gives that high pitch noise.

Yes, I read about it from other thread in the forum, it would be last resort. I had to test the new monitor in an old desktop which can only support 4K at 30Hz, but the quality is just stunning, and 43'' is just crazy.

I could not even start the machine today, pressing the detach button is just showing red, had to force restart by holding power 30 seconds and then, holding power & volume up 15 seconds, then it went well, the dGPU comes back.

dGPU disappear in SB 2 13'', both batteries are here. Applications logs show error: Dtx failed to enumerate DGpu.
