hmm..... I have the i7 512gb and I tried playing infinite crisis on it for a few hours with graphics set to high. fps dropped to 16 and back got hot, but the SP3 still ran and not once overheated. I did a full reinstall when I got it if that helps.

I have this issue on the SP3, both on the i7 and i5. Also had this same issue on the SP1 before. A reboot fixed the problem. Just annoying but nothing to get me to give my SP back :)

gave my SP1 to my inlaw, then got me the i7 512 and the wife i5 256. Can't complain. I love it. Wife loves it. Inlaw loves the SP1. Win for MS on a very well built machine. Now only issue is my external monitor is 2560x1080, and the 1440 version is like out of reach lol....

I have RTM on my SP. This issue has been fixed :) hopefully this helps

so far so good. it's got significant fixes from the 8.1 preview. the tile and resolution issue has been fixed (where a 6 row tile reverts back to 3 after the tablet wakes up from sleep). wifi issues so far are non existent, although I'll need more time to confirm that.

Samsung Tvs do not connect to the SP. I have the 8000 series and my SP can see it, but when it tries to connect, it just stalls and stops.
