ok i bought the push2tv upon seeing this thread, but i couldn't get it to work properly. i updated to latest firmware for the netgear. my SP is running stock windows which i updated to 8.1 preview. when i try to pair it will connect, then the display on the tv will freeze. anything...

just to be clear, miracast is different from widi right? Coz from the threads I've been reading widi is not supported since the wireless adapter is not an intel chipset.

i thought wireless display is not supported by the SP hardware-wise? that's good news!!!

hmm.... so you have 6 rows and it doesn't revert to 4 after the SP wakes up? hmm.... i already tried reinstalling. I also tried installing from an msdn downloaded 8.1, but both of them screw up the tiles after sleep. :( can anyone else confirm having the same issue on 6 rows tiles?

yes but that only changes the screen from 3 rows to 4. To change it from 4 rows to 6 rows, you need to go to display settings and make the display smaller instead of default.

wardo, did you upgrade to 8.1 preview from your custom install of windows 8? how is it? does it have the tile row issue of 6 rows going back to 4 rows after waking up from sleep?

bought my SP to replace my asus zenbook and sony AIO. Right now I do all my work with this bad boy, from managing my datacenter to doing coding, occasional photoshop and illustrator, etc. This is one fine built tablet/PC. I haven't tried it on games though, as I really don't play any games...

yes. i'm able to stream netflix, huluplus in my SP without issues. I'm also able to use airparrot to stream from SP to appletv without issues (although the airparrot app itself has kind of clunky). not sure if me using a wireless AC router helps.

I wish I was. But nothing is touching the screen except my finger, the pen, or the type cover. Besides I have never taken this out of the house since I got it. Yea there were some dust that I wipe off but that's about it. My Note 2 sits in my pocket with my car keys sometimes and not one...
