I bought the pen 3 weeks ago. Microsoft is not responding so I guess it's a common problem. Trashing 100 euro is already something. No customer service is another thing.

Interesting but most of us are dummies. can you please describe how to? Plus it looks to me that REG_DWORD is typical 32bit but surface pro is 64 bit, right?

Same story here, Downloaded latest firmware, deleted pen out of paired devices and paired again, checked if pen and Windows Ink setting was calling out the buttons near de pen tip but clearly Microsoft is avoiding any outcome there. I think I have thrown 100 Euro's through the garbage.

The entire surface of a LCD panel is backlit from behind by a light source (CCFL or LED) and the LCD blocks out the light that is not needed when displaying a particular image. Backlight bleeding most commonly occurs when this light is not 100% blocked, allowing excess light to "bleed" around...

I do recognize some of the comments and for me the cure was: Installing the pro version of CCleaner, clean out all junk and than clean out register. Every time I use "a browser" now, CCleaner removes left behind junk, tracker stuff and kookies. I'm a super happy and always fast user :-)
