I tried the setting "Available everywhere on secure networks" and I cannot connect unless I change it to just "Available everywhere." I can't find the definition of what meets the requirements of a "secure network" for the purposes of using this feature. What is it?

The battery just dies on its own because it either fails to shut down properly when closed and put in a bag or wakes up the bag and drains the battery until it's empty.

When the battery dies, the date and time is lost and has to be set manually. What causes this? Doesn't the Surface Book include a separate battery for maintaining the system time?

EAS? Do you mean Exchange ActiveSync? The Surface Books are using Outlook MAPI, not ActiveSync for email. I don't think we can set screen lock timeouts via EAS except on devices running mobile OSs like Android and iOS.

I don't think the issue here is that they asked him to reset the device. He reset the device, sent it in for RMA, the issue still wasn't resolved and it was sent back damaged.

Does the Core M model have any of the same well known power management and stability problems plaguing the i5 and i7 SP4 models and the Surface Book since their release? Does it have any issues that are unique to the Core M models?

The 2/17 update improved the performance and reduced crashing on our Surface Books, but it still isn't good enough. Most of the Surface Books went from very regularly crashing and embarrassing people presenting in meetings to occasionally crashing. Still much less stable than the old laptops...
