    Solved i5 users with XTU

While that's great information, I'm more interested in how the graphics card (frequency) responds to stress testing, why the frequency seems to stay at a low number, and what would cause it to increase or idle at a certain speed. :)

    I bought Microsoft Complete today...

Is there a Microsoft store by you? I would imagine you can just go there and swap.

Not that I know of. I tried pairing with an app that started up like VNC server but that didn't work.

    Solved i5 users with XTU

Not at all. I'm interested in the fact that it shows a max freq. of 5000 but the numbers I get when I run it are similar to what you both reported. I wondered if it was due to my beta graphics driver or if it's not reporting correctly. The majority of the time it is at 599 like others have...

Please run the Graphics Stress Test and report your findings here. What does your graphics frequency peak at? What is the average? What is the low? I'm curious as to what your numbers are. Thanks!

Awesome 4K video in the SP3 display

In desktop IE, I didn't get the fan. I'm on i7. YMMV.

    I bought Microsoft Complete today...

...even though I have Amex extended warranty. I don't ever want to be without my SP3 (until SP4 comes out and I accidentally drop it then upgrade for a nominal fee)

    Just returned my SP3 i5...

For what I use it for, I haven't had that experience. It's unfortunate for those that it does. MS should be chided for their exploitive marketing and the people who bought in should return it and get a razer blade pro. Problem solved and everyone can move on with life.

    Just returned my SP3 i5...

"Intensely productive, the Surface Pro 3 is also capable of running many of the most popular PC games, including League of Legends, Civilization V, and The Elder Scrolls Online." So the SP3 isn't capable of running these? :)

    Undervolting Snakeoil Works

Using my profile, I have yet to get a higher temp than 75celcius and freq doesn't drop below 2.19ghz. I'm now using Nero Platinum to burn my disk to an image which is also a CPU intensive task - nice and steady.

    Undervolting Snakeoil Works

I ran this experiment using my SP3 by accident. I was using Handbrake to convert a .mkv file to .mp4 which uses 100% of the CPU. I was admiring how my SP3 was outperforming my i5 desktop workstation. The SP3 was encoding 10fps better than the desktop. Then the throttling kicked in which started...
