I think I know what it was, I had downloaded an app called PresenterWorks that is for the laser pen I got http://www.kensington.com/us/us/4492/K72448US/presentair-pro-bluetooth-4-0-l#.VQsd8Y7F9As. I went into that app and turned off the permissions and that "Screen" button came back.

Correct but I don't show that lock button as the "Screen" icon is missing. I have all those you mentioned but the Screen button, instead I have a Brightness button.

I tend to use my keyboard flipped back a lot as a place for my stand to rest a lot. I'm usually able to wipe away most dust and lint. But what about any stains and such? Should we use a special cleaner to take it off and will it damage the cloth or the parts inside?
