I got a wedge mouse for about forty bucks and really like everything about it except, as others have mentioned, the scrolling. It never occured to me to try adjusting it, I'll play with it this evening.

I just tried with my RT and external player (a slim-line DVD player in a USB enclosure). No luck, the movie wouldn't launch.

You may be running into DRM protection on the DVD, which Handbrake can't bypass.

You won't be able to find Handbrake in the store since it has to run on a standard x86 PC (which you'll need for the optical drive anyway). You can find it here: HandBrake

Hey Russ, I had a hunch it had to do with a feature I wasn't using (sideloading .mobi books). I haven't tried the Freda app yet and one of the library options is .epub books. I'll have to give it a try.

I'm somewhat surprised others are finding the Kindle app to be "unusable". I use the RT as a reader every night with the app, reading Kindle ebooks I checked out of the library, and I haven't run into any issues. Anyway, regarding RT issues, the only problem I had was learning to navigate...
