I have to agree with the others, I'm not experiencing any problems with IE in either the MUI or desktop mode. I only bring this up to support that the problem isn't with the SP3, there's some kind of issue with IE on your tablet (that can probably be fixed :)).

I close the type cover until the SP3 starts acting wonky, then I reboot. The exception is when I travel, then I shut it down completely so it doesn't go nuts looking for WiFi when I'm driving over passes.
