Try this if you have Limited Connectivity issues

So, do you have Selective Suspend disabled or enabled? I have it disabled, and don't think connectivity is better after the update, might be worse.

How Computers talk to each other.

My first 2 steps for my neighbors who ask me this question is to get a Windows 8 Easy Transfer Cable and transfer everything from the old desktop to the Windows 8 machine, then make sure email is working on both. Microsoft wants you to use Skydrive, their cloud storage, for sharing, but I am...

Try this if you have Limited Connectivity issues

Disabled Selective Suspend. Don't seem to be losing WiFi, which was happening frequently. Don't know if an update changed something also as I was away from home for 4 days after disabling SS. Still, it is MUCH less irritating. Maybe I won't go buy a new ASUS AC router to replace my Cisco 4200.

I made a foam wedge to prop up the back of the keyboard. I expected that active typing would disconnect it. Be nice if they made one to fit the SP exactly.

    Lap Desk

I use this for couch surfacing. Stabilizes the SP, and raises it about an inch. Heat dissipates nicely (fan doesn't seem to come on as much.) you can turn it around and the SP stand fits in the easel, allowing the keyboard to be attached. See SP reviews...
