Just wanted to check in and see if anyone knew about this upgrade process?

Right, that is how I did the original build but now I'm talking about going Windows 10 Build A -> Windows 10 Build B.

So I have the ISO mounted and ready to install. I'm at the screen where it says I'm going to "Install Windows Technical Preview" and "Keep Windows settings, personal files and apps". Does this mean I'm only keeping Store apps, or will it do a traditional upgrade where I lose nothing?

I'm on build 9860 right now. When I try and install the new releases through the built in mechanism, I get one of two Windows Update errors: 0x8007003 and 0x80240016. I've tried using the fixit tools, reg cleaners, etc. to no avail. I download the 9879 update from here...

Can the MicroSD card slot be used for things like images, loading OS, etc.? I.e., if upgrading to Win10, can it be done if the OS is on an SD slot?

Yes but the issue is not with my external monitor, it is with the surface.

Guys I am BACK on the stock drivers. I rolled back as I mentioned a few posts ago. I don't have the Intel control panel.

I rolled back and attached a better illustration of the issue here. It is weird because 90% of apps/programs/windows look perfectly normal. The picture with the greys and distinction between areas of the program is my 19" monitor over HDMI. The all black is my surface. any ideas?

Well I'm at square one. I'm back on the new Intel driver with the same two issues that caused me to uninstall it. 1) can't get color calibration tolerable. 2) weird UI artifacts in outlook and constantly have to maximize and restore to rectify If I roll back the driver, there is the original...
