You can change the password time settings. Go to PC settings, Accounts, Sign-in options, bottom of page, set password policy, set time for requiring password.

It's hate on anything that's not Apple or Google. The media loves to hate Microsoft and BlackBerry.

I wouldn't want a Surface with a larger screen size - the point of having the SP3 is easy portability. Larger size and heavier weight would kill that.

I'd like to know what constitutes a charge cycle. Is it draining to 0% and charging to 100%? Does draining to 20% and charging to 80% count as a charge cycle? Or charging from 50% to 100% count as a charge cycle? Or ...?

I make less mistakes with the type cover, but I use the onscreen kb a lot.

When I first started using touchscreen devices I had trouble with selecting and copying text. I got the knack after a while and now it seems easy.

There is a lot of disagreement on this topic. I've heard many times that fully discharging a lithium ion battery shortens battery life. I use my SP3 and generally do not worry about the battery. Interesting article here...

When you click on a picture in Facebook it opens in a smaller window where you can also see comments. There is a little x in the upper right corner and when you hit the x the picture closes and you're on the web page. It's the same on the Surface as on a PC browser.
