I had a i7 256 and had too many issues with desktop program scaling for what this machine cost. I did like using it for casual browsing and note taking. I be watching for a deal on a sp3 i3. I will most likely get it without the type cover aka iPad style use.

The wacom fineline stylus with my iPad will be my crutch for note taking waiting for sp4.

I never said sp3 sucked. I liked it and have contemplated buying a a sp3 i3 64. I returned my i7 because for the money spent it could not be a do all machine for me.

You can reduce the resolution but it won't fill the entire screen. I did this for a work around for a while but it got old switching resolutions back and forth!

Solved my problem. I returned my sp3 and will wait to see maybe sp4 or win 10 scaling fixes? I got a new Macbook Pro 15 retina. I really wanted to make the sp3 work!

I really tried for more than 60 days! 4 sp3's and 5 keyboards. Best Buy allowed me to return the sp3 because they have had an onslaught of unhappy sp3 users. Got a new mac book pro and maybe ill try again later.

Since the only has one USB port I got to wondering if there was such an animal as a microsd to SD adapter. Sure enough there is. This would come in handy while uploading pictures to a USB hard drive while using this adapter to read a regular SD card.

Picasa 3.9 seems to be the only photo program that can handle the high DPI of the sp3. I have been trying trial program after program and haven't found anything that looks correct with high DPI except Picasa. Lightroom and elements were terrible.

Windows photo gallery library images will not scroll with type cover. Only the scroll indicator moves but not the library of images? It works with my mouse.

Just wondering if any high dpi scaling issues are resolved in win 10?
