If it is in your budget I would hold out for the 16gb i7. The extra RAM will be worth it. The only data point we have on the i7 is that there was a MSFT project manager at the launch event claiming it would benchmark 80% faster over a SP3 i7. It's on one of the Engadget launch event vids.

OS X 10.x is deep in polished territory. Apple has not been pushing the envelope in OSX for years. That is different for W10 right now. All the initial major releases up through Snow Leopard were pretty messed up on the inital versions. Major bugs, very similar to what we are seeing with...

The problem here is that W10 is still too new on this device. Pretty much all the issues as reported are software problems. They will be resolved after a few point releases. Even Apple has these same pains with new OS releases, it is why on my Macbooks I never jump to install the latest major...

I think the guy is just running what he has available. I agree it would be nice to see more games tested on it that would really stress it.
