that works too, though it depends on how you want it to work. i believe if you do it that way, it will only open up in desktop IE. But if its metro IE then it'll be a bit different. But if you want it to view on desktop IE then tonyz3 way will work

yeah you can do this, it's saved in one of the locations in the drive, I forget where, then it's as easy as replacing the image with the right format. I'll take a look later today

I had the same problem as well, and it was very stressful to deal with. For me what I had to do, was do a repair of the sd card itself. After it was successful, I had no problems with it since. Not sure if it will work in your case though.

Those black images you say, are those viewable elsewhere if you transferred them. I would also back them up if possible. Maybe you could try to uninstall/reinstall the camera app. I would also see if activating the admin account and see if the camera app still fails or not:via commant prompt net...

still works, after some updates, i noticed my link to store windows store apps on my Sd card was reset. Just a simple registry change back and I was back in business.
