Russ if we pre order the the 9th is Saturday, will Fedex or UPS deliver it Saturday.? I have a Best Buy within 2 miles of my home, and a MS store 19 miles away. I suspect the MS store will be crowded. I would rather preorder if it will arrive on Friday or Saturday

Arnold why not believe the website. It is an official site M$. I do not remember Dell advertising devices and then delaying the launch. I do believe there are possibly two reasons battery issue or waiting for the Brazil announcement, I hope the bundle Office Suite with the launch.

I too will get the Pro, weight is not so bad compared to the Dell 4 Lbs laptop I currently have. Was surprised how fast the RT was opened up on XDA, that makes me hope the Pro version will get it's share of tweaks. Drooling on the store window at Orlandos M$ store.

So if it is on Wednesday 10 days before the 26th when will they ship and will it overnight or 2nd day. Would it be easier to goto a MS store or Best Buy. Just trying to decide how I can get it sooner.

How many days in advance did MS put up the preorder for the RT? Maybe we can zero in on the suspected day.

Golou how can you replace a Wyse with a Pro. We use our Wyse with dual LCD monitors, and they connect to a vmware terminal server. That option is much cheaper then a Pro.

Purchased the RT thought it was amazing. Decided to test VPN to work which is ssl VPN. Yes Ionia what VPN options work, but our company will not support those. Hanging on waiting for preorder time.

afy. My son has a RT and uses a USB adaptor to Ethernet. Works just fine. The same company will have a USB to Serial adaptor for those of us who are required to config routers and switches. I am very excited to get one.
