Why? You shouldn't need the hotspot on your phone for GPS navigation if you use an app that stores it's map data locally such as CoPilot. Apps like Google Maps don't store the map data locally so need a data connection to constantly retrieve map data as you drive but the GPS itself does not...

My SP3 has replaced my Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet and severely curtailed the use of my Nexus 7 tablet. It hasn't completely replaced my Toshiba laptop but I certainly don't use that as much either.

I've not had issues with any of the SD cards in my laptop, netbook, Dell Venue 8 Pro or SP3 - all of which are running Win 8.1.

graye - No mixup in terminology on my part. I know exactly what I want to do - share my USB connected LG G2's internet connection with other devices via the SP3's wifi. I can do this with other machines I own but it simply doesn't work on the SP3.

Are you sure the Charge Cover doesn't have backlit keys? My son has a Charge Cover for his SP1 and it's keys are backlit. If you shop around, you can pay less for it as well. The MS Store wanted $200 but we were able to find it at Fry's Electronics for $150.

The magnet is thin and doesn't interfere. I'd be OK with the price IF it could cling along any edge of the SP3. Since it doesn't, I wouldn't recommend it at any price.

I ordered and received the magnet and I am somewhat disappointed. The only place the magnet will cling to the SP3 is where the power connector attaches and the bottom edge where the keyboard attaches. The video shows the magnet along the top but is misleading since they have the tablet upside...

I had a DV8Pro and loved it until I got the use of a SP2 for a week. I ended up buying an SP3 and giving the DV8Pro to my son. He makes good use of it.
