The Home & Student version of Office RT prohibits use of the software for business. Will there be a version available (for RT) that allows use of the Office in a small business? It would seem unreasonable if MS only allows this via the full version of office on Surface Pro. Thoughts?

I also hear that the RT is not necessarily 'enterprise friendly'. What I mean by this is the inability to run real business apps (like Outlook), connect to a corporate network via VPN, etc.

What worries me is the motivation of developers to write for RT and Pro. In the same way that devs may be waiting for the device to become popular before writing for it, there are consumers waiting to see what apps will become available and are holding off purchase decisions.

What platform are you referring to? Windows Surface Pro or Windows Surface RT?

I have pre-ordered a Windows Surface RT device and understand that this will not run any legacy x86 apps. I also read that the OS on the device is not *true* Windows 8 even though it does have a Windows 8-style dashboard. My question is this: What are the chances that developers will get on...
