i'm seriously considering selling my SP2 for a SP3... For those of you that traded up, does anyone know if there's an easy way to migrate the installation so i don't have to reinstall and reconfigure everything?

Yes, chrome must be set as the default browser for windows 8 mode to work. For chrome canary, you need to first modify the registry per the instructions before you can set canary as a default browser.

Canary in metro looks very sharp and clean, that problem I had with Firefox. Pinch zooming is also really smooth and quick, also really easy to pinch zoom-out back to 100% (doesn't zoom out further than that). I love the TouchMe gestures, but I'm really happy that Canary has that built in too...

Yea I was skeptical at first, but you can swipe down the bottom bar. It's also useful because it can still support multiple browser windows and not just tabs.

The gesture navigation forward and back is so simple but it makes me so happy that I can finally do that. I must have spent 10 minutes last night just doing that. My wife probably thought I was having a stroke.

I know with Chrome Canary, doing a 2 finger "tip-tap" works natively, pretty much exactly like TouchMe. Sounds like with both TouchMe and Chrome responding the same way to a tip-tap, TouchMe might be sending the control command while Chrome itself is also switching tabs, causing this problem...

Yea Chrome in the Modern UI was just plain awful, but the Canary release seems to fix all that. Just want to reiterate from the blog post that Canary now defaults to 64 bit, but the 64 bit installation isn't handling memory right and crashes if you scroll too fast. 32 bit Canary seems perfect...

i have an iphone 5 and I find that bluetooth tethering my SP2 constantly drops connection. Wifi personal hotspot works well, but it's just annoying to have to go into settings on my phone every time i want to connect.

I had tried out the nightly build which didn't have good support for third party plugins in metro mode. Any idea if LastPass works in metro mode with this release? No LastPass is a dealbreaker.
