    Complaints with the Surface Pro

Bringing iPad to a stylus discussion is a low blow, especially to a lefty like me. I spent 2 months trying to figure out a way to take good notes on an iPad. Impossible I say!

    Complaints with the Surface Pro

That's like saying to people that complain about limited storage on the Pro, "But you can just bring a 1Tb USB 3.0 drive with you! What are you complaining about?" :) Anyway, I know what you are saying, but it's still a PITA for me have to remember to grab the pen when I'm running to a meeting...

    Complaints with the Surface Pro

Every Watcom tablet computer I've used/owned has had a pen slot. While I can appreciate that some trade-offs are necessary to make Pro the size it is, the lack of pen slot IS a trade-off, and I definitely miss easy storage solution for the pen when I take just the tablet with me. My saving grace...

Surface Pro weird issues and overall experience

OneNote is a free app from the store, and is perfect for quick notetaking, much more light weight than OneNote 2013. Try it.

New here - and have a Office 2013 issue.

I have the same setup - 64Gb Pro, and Office 2013 through HUP for $10, and it works perfect, not one glitch during install or use. I would definitely call MS Support.

Surface impressions from a ling time Mac user

To be fair, Google has to pay Microsoft a license fee for EAS, so it seems kind of funny that Google would pay Microsoft to let a customer set up an account on a Microsoft product. Google also has CardDAV and CalDAV as open-source solutions that Microsoft could implement. Having said all that...

Surface impressions from a ling time Mac user

Welcome fellow Mac user! I've been a heavy Apple user since Apple II days, but always had a desktop PC for media and games. As I've gotten older I have been using the PC less and upgrading it less. Lately though I just got bored with iOS, and first replaced my iPhone with Galaxy Note II, and now...

So how many of you settled with a 64 GB Pro?

That is my problem though. I installed Office, Visual Studio, Picassa, Minecraft, and few smaller apps. Using the microSD card as local storage and my NAS for bigger projects and music/video, it's fine. It works. However with 18Gb left, there just isn't much room left. I see two issues long-term...

So how many of you settled with a 64 GB Pro?

I did, with $40 64Gb card MS Store offered, but I'm really tempted to get the 128. To be honest though, I have everything installed that I need right now and still have 17Gb free. Knowing me though, I'll end up with the 128...

Best Buy Has the Surface in Stores in the US

I just drove over 40 miles to an MS Holiday Store last Friday to get my surface after two local Best Buys told me they no clue when they would get their stock in. Then Sunday I went to BB for something else, and what do I see? surface on display, with plenty in stock...

    New Member

Hello everyone, I just got a 64Gb Surface RT today, after few years of owning iPads and few Android tablets. I just wanted to try something new, and having a full office and a decent keyboard appealed to me. In just 3 hours of playing with it, I think this is the most...
