I concur that it gets warm, but nothing I would be concerned about. That's with and without the extension. I'm loving the adapter. I just wished I had one for work and each TV in my house.:D
I've seen reviewers online that had bad ones. They returned them and bought another from a different source. Their second reviews were problem free. Maybe there is a bad batch out there.
I ask, because I tried Bluestacks awhile ago, but it possessed my setup, so I had to exorcise it immediately. If Bluestacks is much more stable now, then like @kundas1 stated, it would eliminate the need to pay the fee.

As for Office 365, it is the full office apps. I use it for all of my heavy office needs. I was concerned about it too, but I'm happy with it's performance thus far.
Okay, I see that I need to set it to an "always on" scheme next week to avoid issues. Afterwards I will just disable Hyper-V and set it back to normal setup. Thank you.
I'm presently using Office 365 E3 level. It runs very nice and the integration is great. I have it installed locally also to allow offline work. This is easily done via the web console. My only gripe is that for non-students, I can't find a multi-year plan for personal use.
