Has anyone else gone down this path and replaced their desktop with a SP + dock etc? Im looking at doing this in the near future, just would like to hear other peoples experiences Thanks

Either one of the new model mac air's or nothing and waited for SP2. I was thinking of getting an atom based tablet just cause of price.

I cant say i have noticed the same thing. I usually shutdown my SP if i know i am not going to be using it for a while. I usually leave it in hibernate mode if im using it frequently.

I was always looking at getting an ultrabook. something nice & light for travelling, media content, carrying around, bed use etc... It was either going to be SP or the MBA.. Decided to go with SP as my Desktop & phone are both Win8.

Whilst i was waiting for the SP, everytime I walked into a store, I would go to the RT with touch cover, up notepad and just type a few sentences... After a few times I decided type was for me!

I'll prob hold off, cbf re-installing everything
