By accident I discovered if you select text on a web page in the IE app and then Share the page, the selected text is pasted into email as well as link to the page (on Surface 2 8.1 but I presume elsewhere). Neat.

I have been using the various versions of the Logitech Wireless Trackball - M570 is the latest. I don't have that one but the Compatibility page says it works with RT. Trackballs are great if you have arm or wrist problems.

From what I have worked out (my Surface 2 is tucked away unopened so I have some excitement on Christmas morning ;) ), you can use Remote Desktop if your main PC is running Windows Pro - then you can appear to run desktop applications from your Surface. Or you can network the Surface over wifi...
