Adaptive brightness seems be on even after installing Intel's latest HD. Why is it that Intel only allows you to change the setting for on-battery? I am clearly getting fluctuations when my unit is docked and plugged in.

Weird, I don't see any option in the Intel HD control panel for adaptive brightness options. Also, the video tab crashes the program and the 3D tab doesn't show anything.

I brought home three and all had problems. The ones that didn't have minor bleeding had dust trapped under the screen. Also, I'm kind of scared to really confirm it, but I think connecting it to the dock actually creates/increases backlight bleeding by the ports.

The build consistency on this thing stinks. It's a shame, really. If you look at mine from the side, the kickstand isn't even flush with the main panel.
