Oh thanks for the tips, sounds like an odd system. Though its cant be as annoying as on MacOS - if you make one app full screen it disables the other screen - MADNESS!!

I've just ordered a mini HDMI to HDMI AND HDMI to DVI adapter so i can plug my surface RT into my desk monitor has anyone done this? can i have a dual screen setup and will it use the full resolution of my external monitor or just mirror? thanks Mac

google 2 set authentication and application specific password when you get to the account setting page on google - in browser, you have to generate a code - assign an id (anything but probably "my surface rt") then use that to log in. i had to do the same on windows phone

ah after a while it asks if you are still there and pauses playback! never saw this when it went to sleep, only after setting 'never sleep on power'

i have found it is stopping a while after the device goes 'to sleep' - I've fixed this by going into power management in the desktop - not metro settings. and setting it to never go to sleep when on power. its been playing music at work all day today on the smart dj mix
