If a used Surface is purchased on Ebay that has been registered to someone else, can that be transferred easily? Also, if the person purchased the tablet within 45 days, can Microsoft Complete be bought through the Microsoft store or would the seller have to include the receipt to do that?

The app store is certainly going to take off with Windows 8 becoming more and more popular. I for one really like the RT version, and I think people are quick to dismiss it without really seeing what it can do. The app store will grow, give it time.

Went to my local Best Buy and Staples today. Both had end-cap displays of one Surface with a touchcover. Neither store had a type cover on display for testing.

So I have been asking myself this question lately and I thought I would see what others had to say and why. If you could do it again, would you buy the 32gb or the 64gb? Please note that I am not asking if you would buy the Surface again, I am asking what size you would buy.

What you are saying is equivalent to saying that for $5 you can get a basketball that is better at being a basketball. A laptop will always be a better laptop than a tablet... The Surface is a tablet meant for running apps from an app store and the laptop is meant for running programs/legacy...
