Sorry for the delayed reply. I factory reset my Surface Pro tonight and the pen works again. So I'd definitely say it's some sort of Win 10 issue.

Since I have my Surface Book now, I'm just going to do a factory reset of my Surface Pro 1 when I have time and see if that fixes it. I'll post an update when I get to it (this weekend hopefully).

I tried pulling out the tip and putting it back in but no luck. In my device manager I see: Under "Human Interface Devices" HID-compliant digitizer HID-compliant pen Wacom Device Under "Mice and other pointing devices" HID-compliant mouse (two of these)

Does the tip wear out even if I haven't been using it? I'm pretty sure I've only used it a handful of times since I've received my Pro. But thanks for the reply! I'll contact support and see if changing the tips fixes it.
