    Thanks for your reply. I do have a smartphone and i have not tried to tether it. However i have tethered it to my ipad which has a lot of pre paid data on. Just wanted to know if it was possible to get mobile 4G network on SurfacePro3.

    Thank you for your reply. I would prefer to use a USB dongle to connect to 3G/4G network. If i am unable to connect with a dongle on SurfacePro3, then can i use my ipad as a hotspot? My question is.....does Surface Pro3 allow me to use a dongle to connect?

    when do you think we will be getting Windows 10? In the meantime i am going to install a different camera and see if that works. Seems very odd that Microsoft should put out Surface Pro3 with inbuilt camera, that does not work with Skype which Microsoft also own!! I just installed my Logitech...
