I've never typed in Word in other tablets. This morning, after shutting down and charging my surface...Word seems to keep up with my typing. weird. Maybe she was just tired.

just closed all apps besides Desktop running Word (and only Word) and if I begin typing quickly...the 'click' sounds of the keyboard keep up with me but the screen is immediately behind (if that phrase makes any sense). I can be 10 words in by the time the 3rd is displayed. This is disconcerting.

Nobody else interested in that color variant on the touch cover- other cool ones to come with Surface Pro???

Today is the first day I've used my touch cover to type more than instant messages. I've been using it to write in Microsoft Word, and the text on the screen just doesn't show up as quickly as I type on the touch cover, which can be frustrating if you watch your words when you type for errors...

I bought mine online from the microsoft store...any chance I get a bigger skydrive too? Also- Sorry about your problem :(

This has been a big worry for me too. I used to use my laptop all the time plugged in and now it will shut down if you unplug it. I'm been nervously charging my surface for an hour or two and then unplugging before bed. I will now charge it all night like my iphone. Thanks for this post!

Trying to decide if this pixel is worth being without my surface for however long a repair/replacement would take...any way to prove if its a dead pixel? SUPER small dot on my screen, not dirt/dust on the glass ?

Anybody know how long the warranty is?

So....I found a dead pixel. it wouldn't be a huge deal, except that its all I see when looking at my screen. Anybody know if the warranty covers this and if I should do anything to fix/replace? It just makes me so sad.

Thank you so much for your help on #2...that helped a lot...just a little difficult get things to show up on the second screen...the only way I got it to work was using the track pad on the touch cover to grab apps and "throw" them onto the second screen...the touch screen is of no use.

Very cool man! I've subscribed to your YouTube channel. What do you have that allows you to hook up your xbox controller? It doesn't appear to be a wired USB in the video?

I also have random mutes- my friend was convinced there were volume controls in the black bezel where his thumb was LOL! It would be a lot funnier if my surface didn't do this... Maybe I'll try to get a replacement too? Lots of work for something that should be fixed with an update or something..

I really enjoyed the game, but believe if it didn't have such nice visuals it'd be deleted. it is pretty laggy and frustrating at times. I actually had to restart my surface to get the game to play at one point last night. the reviews say something about Microsoft possibly charging for...
