    VBA8 GBA emulator

I wonder if they'll ever be able to port 5th-gen emulators to RT. Anyone familiar with the processing power of the PSX/N64 vs the Tegra3?

    What Apps Do you Snap?

SongAviary, which is the only usable music app I have found on the app store. Also Skype is great in 1/3 more because you can get video on top, chat on bottom, and still have 2/3 of your screen to do work. Score.

[Solved] Internet Explorer Won't Zoom Out

Wow, I feel like a total idiot. I tried looking everywhere in the settings, I have no idea how I missed that. Thank you so much! Moderators, please mark this one as solved!

[Solved] Internet Explorer Won't Zoom Out

Hey guys, Over the pat two days I've had a pretty strange problem that I can't seem to find any other references to on the internet. I fully zoomed into a page on the Metro version of IE10 a few days ago and I haven't been able to zoom out. I've tried closing the tab, making a new tab...

    [WINNER] Surface with Windows RT

Congrats! Even if you don't end up using this one, it'll be one heck of a Christmas present!

Number of Windows 8/RT Apps in the App Store

Good point, if anyone else who is not from the Eastern United States would like to keep track of this and provide updates as well, please feel free! Also I wanted to do once a day (at least to begin with) so it would be easy to compile a visual graph showing app growth, if it gets to be too much...

Number of Windows 8/RT Apps in the App Store

Since there didn't seem to be a page on this yet and people seemed interested in tracking app growth in the store app, I decided to start a thread here. Every day I am going to update this post with the amount of apps currently available for Windows 8/Windows RT. I will also be updating a graph...

    Music app

All of the metadata stays with the file, but the music app doesn't have a column for rating/playcount as of now. All of the rest of the song info (and often time the cover art) will transfer over though. As of now I'm not aware of a third-party app that supports ratings/playcount, but I would...

    Registering your Surface

It took far longer navigating Microsoft's website than it should have, but I found out how to register mine today online. Go here...

Hey JP, Thanks for the welcome. I haven't gotten the chance to watch Falling Skies yet, would you recommend it?

Why the unusual interface for the AC adapter?

I love how fast it charges and how it disconnects easily if you trip or walk away with it by accident, but did they really need to make it so darn hard to connect in the first place? I was hoping it'd be simple and easy to get in there like the MacBook chargers, I just don't understand why for a...

What would you change about the Surface?

    1. Overhaul the Xbox music app. Before Windows 8 I heard tons of ignorant and unfounded comparisons to Microsoft Bob, but this is the one area in which the comparisons are somewhat accurate. From opening the app it takes at the very LEAST five clicks to get a song to play, and you can't even...

Poor video quality when using HDMI port

What application are you using to play the video? Also, what types of file (and/or codec) are you using and what video quality is the original file (or if its streaming off youtube, Netflix, ect what are the quality settings)?

    Music player question

This has been the bane of my existence since I started using Windows 8 a few months ago and almost was the deal-breaker for me. Why would Microsoft leave out such a basic function that every other media player I have ever used has? Even my Nintendo 3DS can do it. I really hope this is just an...

    Greetings from Boston!

Hey everyone! My name is Joe, and I'm finishing up my undergraduate senior year in history and secondary education while student teaching at a small Catholic high school in the area. I was lucky enough to be able to grab my surface from the Microsoft Store over at the Prudential Center, which...
