good! Glad you got it to work again. I was thinking that too, cause the preview agreement explicitly says that you will not be able to use your recovery partition... so either there must be some permanent 8.1 secret recovery or something...

It always requires a password at start-up, but from then on it doesn't. Is this what you're referring to?

hmmm, weird.... why would "open with photo viewer" send you to print... Have you tried looking here or resetting the defaults?

Same thing happened to me, I forgot how I fixed it. But I do know that if you go the advanced start-up settings and you click on the completely reset everything option, you'll end up with 8.1 like you got it when it was new.

don't think it's possible at this point, only 2 app side by side is available.

I believe lasso is default, you have to change it to pen manually in the bar. Also don't think color whell is there any more, again, choose color only from top bar. Double click works as Compusmurfs says.
