I haven't bought a case. I like, for the most part, the type cover. Not the best protection, I know, but I like it. I just don't want to get a cover to make the sp3 bigger than it already is. THe type cover does have its faults..like I wish they had a forward and previous button for music...

For the few of you that got the new firmware, whats your first impression? Any significant improvements?

I got Microsoft complete after 15 days of getting my SP3 i5...

BTW, it worked...I had to restart unplug and replug back in the adapter....then it recognized the TV and Im guessing installed some drivers...Now on my VOLUME bar, there is a source for my TV

I used the official mini-display port adapter to stream to my HD TV. Video works perfect..... But no sound...only sound is coming from the SP3. I looked under DEVICES-SOUND and only see the headphones and the SPEAKERS as an option...so Im not sure what I have to do to get the sound to the TV. Help

Yes they do but not quite the same as OneNote does. I just tested this in Word... Using OneNote as soon as I take out my open and hit the screen with it, it starts writing... In Word, I take my pen out and hit the screen it doesn't start writing. I see WOrd recognizes that I have a pen...

Frank-When you say DETECTS it...it doesn't automatically start writing without you clicking a couple more times on the ribbon right? Like in OneNote, the pen is automatically detected, plam rejection is enabled, and you can start writing right away without having to click on anything else to...

Hi everyone- I'm finding that when I close my type cover and later on open it, my camera app is open. I never use it but about 50% of the time it somehow is on even though I didn't use it before. THis is causing serious battery drainage. Anyone experiencing this? Anyone know how to stop...
