Im still debating on the dock. My main reason for the dock was the multi monitors but I can do it without a dock my just daisy chaining 3 external monitors....Id be missing out on a set charger, yes. And an Ethernet port, which I don't even use now......so I think I might be good without one

Your right....but it wasn't what I expected. So it appears on y lock screen that's a plus but only after I click the volume button or kit the play pause button on the keyboard. I guess its better than nothing

Welcome Reid- Like you, I took a look at the original Surface and decided to wait a little longer before I considered it to replace my laptop. MS 3rd attempt did the trick. I love my SP3

FYI- Since the July 16th update, I have not experienced on instance of limited connectivity on a 5mhz band

So I always got the feeling that something wasn't right with the app..... And so I compared the web version and the metro version.....the metro version does not have all the newsfeed that the web version does. I compared it to the iPad app as well. Same thing. Anyone else seeing this?

mine was opposite....it started realy high....was reflecting 12 hours +. Now its down to 10

Theres a setting.....I had the same issue...let me go see if I can find it again Ok go to Settings, Change PC Settings, Lock Screen....and down a ways in the middle of your screen you will see a section titled CAMERA Swipe it to OFF My SP3 was heating up bad until someone on here told me...

I wonder how you are getting that?!?!? I get that if Im on my desktop and click on my volume buton...but not from my lock screen...let me try clicking on my volume button while on the lock screen NOpe...Just the volume indicator shows up

SP3 adapter says 300 mbps at home...this is with the SP3 not plugged in. No limited connection issues as of yet
