I have the Microsoft ARC mouse and I love the feel of it but it has never functioned properly. Sometimes it loses connection or is laggy. So I have to put it straight and bend to turn it on and off again. Then its okay. Other times the SCROLL feature is buggy. I scroll and here lets say 10...

I haven't tried it yet simply because I was very disappointed in the speed that my data was transferring to and from the card. I got a SanDisk 128GB Extreme card and I wasn't expecting the speed to be sooo slow. So I never tried to install a program to it

i5/256 Owner. I rarely hear the fan. I don't game too much on it but when I do here it is sometimes on updates or when Ive been watching HULU ( or other video apps ) in full screen on one of my other 2 external monitors. Usually Im working so I would have about 6-8 apps open

Where the setting you found that has the system auto defrag on a daily , weekly, etc etc basis?

It always been my understanding that defrag is a "no,no" on SSD drives. Ive read that it actually can shorten the life of an SSD After reading about your experience, I better check to see if my SP3 has defrag set to automatically be performed. Thanks

If your domain is like my domain, you cant use VM....you cant install programs without admin rights..

I don't think it would be better than the WIn 8 that comes with it but I know I had a touch screen with Windows 7 and it worked ok....nothing like this SP3 works. I would think your major issue would be drivers? This is just a newbie talking though

Yep...Ill joing the group...Use my SP3 in a domain now and all securities are dictated by it...sucks but I love the productivity Im getting now

I can only speak for myself but, Im okay with this whole process over all. Im an early adapter....so I expect things like this. I lived with it and they are making improvements But I didn't have some of the horror stories Ive heard.....
