Yeah, I've been able to access the UEFI GUI on the surface, but selecting "restart" from there returns me to the 0xc0000428 error screen

Hi all, trying to fix a coworker's Surface Book and getting the above error. Don't know how to get to get to the necessary menus if the keyboard won't work. I've created a bootable USB and attempted to change the boot sequence on the SB, it still doesn't seem to boot from the USB to run...
