This happened to me. Couldn't figure it out at first. There were a bunch of apps that were trying to update, but were stalled. I stopped the updates and then restarted them. Problem seemed to be solved. Check that. This happened right after the last update. All seems good now.

My SP3 has been problem free from the beginning. I've only had it a month, but, no issues at all. I wish it had even better battery life than it does, but, it's pretty good as it is. The core i5 is pretty good. It's the device I think most people should get. Core i7 is overkill for the price...

I've never seen that issue on my core i5 SP3. That many blue screens is not a good sign. I would definitely has someone look at it, or just exchange it. If it was me I'd do an exchange. Did you try a reinstall?
