Claiming it is a "laptop" associates it as a mobile devices with desktop capabilities. Perhaps MS is trying to help define a "tablet" as a device with a mobile operating system but is too large to use as a phone. I'm sure all the youtube videos comparing the SP to an iPad Pro and other...

My order still says "Pre-ordered - Available on 6/15/2017" so I checked their order tracking page: It comes back with "We couldn't find your order. Check your info and try again." Anyone else get that response?

Interesting, The MS site still says "Pre-ordered - Available on 6/15/2017 " The bank was charged Monday (yesterday morning) and still says "Card Hold / MICROSOFT *STORE MSBILL.INFO WAUS. Release Date 06/15/2017"
